Our Annual Rooney Family Picture

During Christmas Dinner Grace, I just sort of slid in the little fact that we were going to adopt a baby. You could almost hear people people lift their heads from prayer to see if they heard right. With my pregnant sister Janet and pregnant cousin Jennifer at the table we began hoping that next year our Christmas dinner table would be filled with high chairs including one for our baby.

Decision Made

We went to a educational session at Adoptions from the Heart, a local adoption agency. We went with an open mind and no agenda. We left with a plan! We were ready to begin the process to adopt a little girl from China!
